Yoga
is best to preserve your physical and mental health. Yoga should be a
routine act especially for healthy persons. And those who are not
feeling well or ill should do according to their ease till their health
permit. In childhood, old age, pregnancy and menstrual period, we
should not do yogic aasana (exercises). Mild yogic aasana like
Shavashan, Dhyan Mudra can be done during this period. Patients of
heart diseases, respiratory diseases, diabetes and any other chronic
disease can do only those aasana which are prescribed by their yoga
trainer or ayurvedic doctor. Yoga is very effective if it is done in a
proper manner. Patients of chronic diseases can face some complications
if they do not follow the instructions. Yoga becomes more effective if
it is done in early morning with empty stomach. It has scientific and
spiritual reasons. In early morning, we start our new day and have
little stress as compared to rest of the day. Pollution is at least and
we inhale fresh air which is obviously beneficial for us. Empty stomach
is preferred because after taken food our blood supply increases
towards stomach as compared to rest of the stomach. So that our brain
and body feel drowsiness. This is not the proper situation to do yoga
or recreate ourselves. That’s why it is preferred to do yoga in early
morning and empty stomach.
Traditional system is bliss for our society for making us physically,
mentally, spiritually strong which are very essential to achieve our
dreams. |
